For someone that works 3 jobs & doesn’t have the time to spend hours in the gym – this is a perfect book!

After years of reading books written by people who are able to workout all the time (because its their job) I finally found a book that relates to the everyday woman (mom/accountant/salesperson/nurse- you name it).

Shape-up Shortcuts starts by taking you through your kitchen and what you should be (& shouldn’t be) eating. The author also addresses that NEVER eating out isn’t and option- she tells you healthy swaps though.

Packed with tons of exercises you can do in your home, after reading you will have no excuse to lose that extra weight and tone up.

I can’t rave about this book enough.

I enjoy reading on this topic to learn new pointers and to help motivate me. Even if I learn nothing new, I still value the motivation. It’s been a long time since I read anything new until this book. A few of the exercise pointers alone made this purchase worth it. I have been doing squats and lunges for 20 years but I learned some pointers that really, really helped me. I recommend this read. Very motivating and I learned new tips for both exercise and eating right. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that I hate when a ‘get in shape’ book has tons of recipes. If I wanted a recipe book, I would have bought a recipe book.
