This is a fine, entertaining novel based on some actual WWII naval events. The author definitely knows his ships and his history. The book is riveting, and I can’t wait to read another of his novels.

This had to be the worst edited books I’ve ever read, April 22, 2016

This had to be the worst edited books I’ve ever read. Misuse of homonyms, missing words, whole phrases out of order. Ordinarily there’s just a few of these in a book but this has to set a new standard for sloppiness. I only comment on this because it was so ubiquitous it became distracting.

The story wasn’t bad; the editing was.

Couldn’t put this book down! The hard hitting action was non stop. The description of the action was absolutely riveting, and the description of the action made me feel as though I was right there on the bridge as well as with the men on shore.
